Benefits:

The hotel will provide up to 5 days of complimentary housing on site. The hotel will also coordinate airport pick up as long as you communicate your arrival with the Director of HR prior to booking your flight. A complimentary meal is provided per shift. Uniform shirts are provided in server roles – Students should wear their own jeans (no holes) and canvas shoes. The host uniform is provided. You will also be eligible to receive Marriott discounts on hotels across the world.

  • Server: $7.00+ tip (usually equaling around $15.00) It is customary in the US to work in “gratuity” positions. In these positions, you will receive a base hourly salary plus gratuity (tips). While the amount of a gratuity is ultimately at the discretion of the guest, the customary tip is 15-20% of the total bill before tax. Based on history, you may expect to earn around $15.00 per hour”. Host: $11.00 Supervisor: $7.25-$15.00 (depending on which outlet, will still get gratuity in this position) minimum wage 7.25, if you do not make this amount in a your shift the hotel will pay back the rest.

About you

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:- you are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industryOR- you have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA)OR - you have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)- you have shown consistent career growth over the last years - you have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
  • Language required: English.
